Well monday saw the first submission take place in the form of a site analysis for our individual projects. True to tradition the hours of sleep were low, and quality of work high across the board. The projects were critiqued by our much loved tutors along with course coordinators Mark Taylor and Chris Tucker and also visiting professors/mentors Richard Leplastrier and Peter Stutchbury. Drew Heath also dropped in to sit as a guest on a crit panel giving insightful and valuable feedback.
The projects ranged from national history museums to prisons, dairy farms to rehab centres and have located themselves everywhere from the bottom of the ocean to the surface of the moon.
Really great to see the Newcastle tradition of self directed projects delivering such creative and thought provoking ideas. Well done everyone and good luck for the rest of the year.
