Sport and religion are often viewed as two very distinct faiths of human life. However, the parallels that can be drawn between the two imply that sport may very well be the modern day religion. Australians, in particular, are globally considered sport-obsessed, either as spectators or participants.

The city central 2,500 capacity urban stadium and focused professional athlete physical rehabilitation center aims to offer the Newcastle community with a mixed-use metropolitan venue to encourage a closer community environment as well as placing this growing city on the international map.
