House of Creative Industries by Peter Bleus

The project, House of Creative Industries, promotes a new model of the NSW TAFE and is located on Dyke point Carrington, an historically significant site for indigenous and non-indigenous Australians. The project is aimed at the provision of further education and accommodation to humanitarian refugees and recognises many of the unique requirements that these users place on the institution.

With billions being spent on refugee processing by the Federal Government, the House of Creative Industries seeks to provide a counterpoint to this reaction by recognising the obvious positive impact that welcoming refugees into our community can provide.
