Malaysian Institute of Architects by Liyana Hairi

PROJECT LOCATION:  Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In response towards architectural development in Malaysia, a “one-stop” architectural centre is proposed in order to give an opportunity to the public to merge architectural knowledge and information. The project is aimed to increase the quality of architecture in Malaysia right from its basic education.

This Institute is located in the busiest city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and this gives an extra bonus to the program. The building consists of Institute administration office, student housing, student studios, workstation, public and university shared library, recreational and research centre.

The overall design scheme of the project is to create a building where public could easily access the information regarding architecture and able to communicate directly to the expertise in architecture.
