Situated in Pyrmont New South Wales, on the corner of Harris and John Street, the Terminus Hotel has sat abandoned since 1984. With neighbouring sites currently being developed into residential terraces the suburb of Pyrmont continues to increase its population density.
This project intends to utilise this forgotten piece of architecture, which nature is currently reclaiming as its own, in order to divide the city block and provide new public spaces for surrounding residences.
The cascading landscape that will encroach over the terminus hotel, and surrounding development, has been established to allow natural pedestrian activity to ow throughout the city block.
