Urban Green, Cabramatta, challenges the reality of the contemporary issues of food crisis and explores architectural solutions to provide a sustainable future. With food prices on an ever increasing rate and our growing conscience on our food’s origins, Urban Green feeds the community with fresh and locally produced vegetables and seafood on the upper floors. Whilst, the produce will be used to serve a permanent and temporary market space as well as eateries on the ground floor, and distributed to local stores and restaurants.
